Committee Engagement
NEMA has committees for every aspect of emergency management. State members make up the voting bodies of each committee, with one non-voting seat reserved for a liaison from the private sector. Private sector liaisons are appointed by the Private Sector committee chair. LEARN MORE
NEMA’s Policy & Leadership Forum
NEMA holds two national conferences per year. The NEMA Mid-Year Forum is held in early spring in the Washington, D.C. area. The NEMA Annual Forum is held in the fall in the home state of the NEMA president. LEARN MORE

Access to Members-Only Areas of the Website
General information about NEMA is available to anyone. Members, however, are given access to restricted areas of the NEMA website where such proprietary information as a membership directory, policy and research papers, publications, legislative information, surveys, and bulletin boards are located.

Dues for State Members are $4500 per year.
Associate membership is available to all companies, organizations and individuals in the profession of public safety.
