Airport & Local Transportation
The Hilton Alexandria does not have an airport shuttle however, NEMA has arranged for airport pickup from Reagan National Airport (DCA) on Saturday, March 25 - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday, March 26 - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Shuttles will run on the half-hour. The pickup location is outside of baggage claim DOOR #7. The shuttle will have a sign with the NEMA logo and "Hilton Alexandria Mark Center" in the window. 

Return transportation to the airport (DCA) will run on the half-hour Thursday, March 30, and Friday, March 31, from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. No reservations are necessary, be in the lobby 10 minutes before the half-hour.

A shuttle will also be available each evening (3/26-3/29) to take guests to Shirlington and Old Town Alexandria restaurants. That shuttle will run on a loop beginning at 5:00 pm with the final pick up at 9:30 pm. Shuttles will drop off and pick up from a central location. Be sure to check with the driver to confirm the final pick-up time, and you disembark.

Hotel Outlets
Finn and Porter is open weekdays 6:00 am - 11:00 am, 7:00 am - 11:00 am on weekends with buffet service, closed for lunch and dinner.

Lobby Lounge is open 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm with a limited menu and carryout options.

The Marketplace is a new retail shop in the hotel! The hours are 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. It has a coffee bar, snack foods, soft drinks, sundries and souvenirs. There are also premade salads and sandwiches available for purchase. 

Meeting App
Speaking of the App! NEMA will be utilizing a meeting app with all the information you need to navigate the 2023 Mid-Year Forum. There will be no paper handouts, but the app will have everything you need. Agendas for all sessions, sponsor profiles, exhibit map, property map, speaker bios, social media, messaging to other attendees, and much more. Use the QR code to the right or look for the email invitation from Eventee with instructions. Download it today!

Ticket to Ride
Your badge is your Access and must always be worn to access NEMA forum activities, especially meals! We'll feed you well but only if you can get past the door. 

 
Unauthorized Events 
Any off-schedule, unofficial events such as product demonstrations, promotional meetings, hospitality suites, or other activities which bring attention to an organization, it's products, or services are not permitted. If you become aware of such an event in the hotel, please immediately report it to a NEMA staff member.

An overflow block of rooms has been arranged at the

$189 (single/double) per night plus tax and fees. This rate is based upon availability until March 3, 2023 so book early! Reservations made after that date are subject to current prevailing rates.

Rooms are assigned at check-in. If the type of bed you'd prefer (king, double, etc.) shows as unavailable, please book another and make a note of your preference under "special requests" to ensure you have a room reservation.

The discounted hotel rate will be available 3 days prior to and 3 days following the forum (based on availability).

The Washington, DC Metro Area is serviced by 2 major airports, Washington Reagan International (DCA) located approximately 7 miles from the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center and Dulles International Airport (IAD), located approximately 20 miles southeast of the Hilton. Most major carriers service both airports.

The Alexandria Hilton offers complimentary shuttle service to Washington Reagan National Airport. Complimentary shuttle service is also available to area restaurants, Old Town Alexandria and the Pentagon City Metro stop. Please call the hotel for pick up/drop off locations and times. Cabs, public transportation, Uber and Lyft are also readily available.

The dress code for NEMA Forum committee meetings and workshops is business casual. Business attire is appropriate for the General Session and President's Reception.

Important Notices

  • Submitting your registration and payment constitutes an agreement on your part to accept the NEMA Forum Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.
  • Please reserve only the number of hotel rooms to accommodate confirmed forum attendees. Past forums have seen the room block fill very early, necessitating an overflow hotel be contracted, only to see large numbers of cancellations at the original hotel just prior to the forum. This makes NEMA vulnerable to fees for not meeting the room block and inconveniences other forum attendees who are forced to stay at different hotels. Your cooperation in this is appreciated. Payment in full prior to the forum is required. Credentials and forum materials will not be assigned to those with outstanding fees.
  • Cancellations received in writing prior to February 24, 2023, will receive a refund less a $300 administration charge.
  • Registration fees for cancellations received after February 24, 2023, will not be refunded.
  • Registrations are transferable.
  • You will be given a confirmation number at the end of your registration that serves as your proof of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation number, please contact NEMA as you will *NOT* be registered for the conference.
  • Registration could close without notice if the capacity limit is reached.
